Individual Sessions With A Mental Health Social Worker
One-On-One Mental Health Therapy (Face-To-Face Or Via Telehealth)
$180- 50 minute session
Medicare Rebate $85.20
Medicare Rebates are available through a referral for your GP (Medicare Better Access) for up to 10 sessions per calendar year for individual sessions.
Private Health Funds may provide a rebate amount, however this depends on your level of cover. Please have a chat with us and we will provide you with the details you will need to discuss with your health fund. You do not need a referral from your GP if you will be using your private health fund for sessions.
Family & Couple Therapy Sessions
Under the Medicare Guidelines, Family and Couples Therapy sessions cannot receive a rebate.
Family Therapy Intake
$200 per person – 50 minutes
Group Therapy With The Family Unit
$300 – 1.5 hours
Individual Session (Family Therapy)
$250 – 50 minutes
Co-Parenting Joint Session (For Separated Parents)
$300 – 1.5 hours
Individual Session (Co-Parenting & Relationship)
$200 – 50 minutes
Relationship Counselling Joint Session (Both Parties Present)
$300 – 1.5 hours
Reports
If a report is required it will include presenting concerns, clinical assessment, treatment, and ongoing recommendations.
The fee for reports is $250 per hour. Please discuss this with your clinician and they will provide you with an estimated total cost.
