Family Report Writing Services
A family consultant is a social worker or psychologist who conducts child and family assessments to prepare a Family Report that have been ordered by the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia under specific sections of the Family Law Act 1975.
These reports are to assist the parties and the Court to determine arrangements that will bring about the best outcomes for children.
The two main types of reports prepared by family consultants are ‘Child Impact Reports’ which are generally ordered early in proceedings, and ‘Family Reports’, which are generally ordered for matters in the final hearing stage of proceedings.
Our clinicians are based in Gympie, but can travel throughout Queensland and Interstate to conduct Family Reports.

Completed Family Report: $5800 + GST + travel within 2 hours driving of Gympie, Queensland.
Family reports outside of 2 hours driving range will incur proportionate fees for travel.
50% of the fee must be paid as a deposit (at least two weeks before the initial interviews) and once the report has been completed the remaining 50% must be paid prior to the report being released.
Further charges may apply in the following circumstances:
- More than two parties in the proceedings
- Over four children per proceeding
- Updated Family Report
- Addendum Report
- Travel costs
- Attendance at Court to provide evidence at the final hearing (either in person or via video conference or phone)
